May Wilson received her MFA from the University of California-Davis, and a BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art. She was the recipient of the San Francisco Art Dealers award and a finalist for the SFMOMA SECA award. Wilson has been awarded a residency at Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture, and a fellowship at the Headlands Center for the Arts. She has exhibited widely, including shows at Shulamit Nazarian, the Craft & Folk Art Museum, VACANCYLA, in  Los Angeles; Minnesota Street Projects, Bass and Reiner, CULT Exhibitions, di Rosa Foundation, as well as the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art in Northern California. Her work has been reviewed in Artforum Magazine, Frieze Magazine, Art Practical, and the San Francisco Chronicle, among others.
